Why The Philanthropy Place?
I’ve spent my career in the trenches of nonprofit fundraising—raising more, engaging donors, and proving that you don’t need to reinvent the wheel to be successful. As the Founder & CEO of The Philanthropy Place, I take a hands-on approach to consulting, fractional leadership, and tailored capacity-building tools that help organizations grow, scale, and thrive.
Before launching The Philanthropy Place, I served as Managing Director at Aperio Philanthropy, working with 85+ nonprofit clients to build major giving programs, design strategic fundraising plans, and execute capital campaigns. My work has taken me across every corner of the nonprofit sector—from managing multi-million-dollar campaigns to launching donor engagement strategies that turn one-time donors into ride-or-die supporters.
But let’s rewind. Before Aperio, I built major gifts programs and led record-breaking fundraising campaigns at The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, The Nueva School, and Oklahoma State University Foundation. I’ve helped nonprofits secure millions in philanthropic support by combining smart strategy with good, old-fashioned relationship-building.
